2020 – Wake NZ Nationals

*UPDATE* – Tues 27 Oct
Due to a lesser than usual number of competition entries we have made a decision to run the 2020 Wakeboard Nationals Competition as a one day event instead of a two day event. The venue remains the same (Horahora Domain, Piarere, Cambridge).
Riding Familiarisation will now take place on Friday afternoon from 3pm for both boats.
Competition day will be now be Saturday 31st October.
We will also be reducing the entry fee to $80 (plus 5% booking fee) for all divisions and will be refunding the difference to all competitors already entered.
If you have already entered and you decide that you now don’t want to participate in the one day event please contact us for a full refund.

AGM Reminder
Our AGM is being held at 5.30 on Friday 30th October at Piarere Hall, 5920 State Highway 29, Piarere (after the familiarisation) we would love to see you there, so please save the date. Questions and contributions from the floor welcome.

Format:
Boat Riding Order: We have 30+ Boat riders competing across 12 divisions so expect some tension and entertaining riding. The heat schedule and results as they happen can be viewed in live heats:

Heats and finals will run on Saturday 31st October
Boats: Kindly provided by Nautique NZ, The official Towboats for the event are a 2020 Super Air Nautique GS20 and a 2020 Super Air Nautique G23.
Venue Info: It’s expected to be warm so make sure you bring sunscreen, hats and plenty of water.
Coffee will be available from a cart onsite but you are advised to bring your own food for refreshment and sustenance.
Equipment: Please ensure your boards, boots, vests, ropes, and helmets (if worn) are in good condition.
Prize Giving: Prize giving will be held at 5.30 or thereabouts after the conclusion of riding on Saturday evening at the Good Union Bar at 98 Victoria Street Cambridge.
