2022 – Saronic Cable vs Wake – Backpaddock Lakes

I agree to abide by the event conditions below;
I certify that I am in good physical health and agree entirely that I compete at my own risk. I further certify that my ski vest, wakeboard and helmet are safe for this event. I waive any claims against the event organizers and sponsors.
Event Conditions:
1. Neither the organisers, sponsors or any other parties associated with the event shall have any responsibility for liability, financial or otherwise, which may arise whether or not by negligence, or any direct or indirect loss, in injury or death which may be sustained by me or any other party, directly or indirectly associated with me, from my intended or actual participation in the event or its related activities.
2. I authorise my name, picture or information on this entry form to be used without payment to me in any broadcast, telecast promotion, advertising or other pursuant to Privacy Act 1993.
3. I agree to comply with the rules, regulations and event instructions.
4. I consent to receiving medical treatment that may be advisable in the event of injury or illness suffered during the course of the event.
5. As a competitor I will act in a respectful manner at all times
6. I will not consume alcohol prior to wakeboarding at this event.
7. All individuals under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult during the entire event.
8. In accordance with current NZ Covid 19 legislation relating to the traffic light system and the fact that Wake NZ is running an event at Red we are required to operate this event with the My Vaccine Pass requirement in place.
This means that we are required to ask all competitors entering the event, or assisting with the event to show their My Vaccine Pass upon rider check in at the venue.
Children under the age of 12 years and 3 months do not need to provide a My Vaccine pass to participate in the event.
If you are above the age of 12 years and 3 months and do not have a My Vaccine pass you will not be able to participate in or assist with the event.
Under this framework we are limited to 100 people in attendance excluding wake nz and back paddock staff.
As such we need to manage the number of riders in attendance as well as the number of support people expected.
The event will not be open to the public as the BackPaddocks venue is not a public space.
Wake NZ encourages attendees to observe the recommendation to social distance of 1m and the use of masks when able to during the event.
We trust event participants understand our requirement to operate the event in this manner given the current legal framework governing events at this time.
